Production, Process Flow Charts & Layouts
Dvir.ie has accumulated experience in process flow analysis and development.
This work is essential for the preparation of a process layout, always aiming to improve efficiency by arranging equipment according to its function, with attention to space management, budget management and other project specific requirements. The preparation of a flowchart is usually part of the Project Program and is the basis for the Conceptual design.
Preparing a flowchart reveals the picture of the separate steps of a process in sequential order.
Elements included, are:
- sequence of actions,
- materials or services entering or leaving the process (inputs and outputs),
- decisions that must be made,
- people who become involved,
- time involved at each step and/or process measurements.
In the Flow Chart process we identify and involve all key people involved with the process. People who actually perform the process should be part of identifying the optimal process flow.
